The University of Iowa John Pappajohn Entrepreneurial Center (Iowa JPEC) will hold the 7th Annual Midwest Engineering Entrepreneurship Network (M.E.E.N.) on July 12-13, 2017.

What: In 2011, TEC and CFE recognized the value in establishing an organization that would provide a forum for sharing best practices and methods for overcoming challenges unique to Midwest engineering entrepreneurship centers.

When: The 2017 MEEN Conference will be held July 12-13 at the University of Iowa.

Agenda will be posted soon but participants should plan to arrive by noon on July 12 and expect to depart shortly after lunch on July 13.

*This conference is open to University administration, faculty and staff.

There is no registration fee to attend this conference, but participants are responsible for providing their own transportation and accommodations.

Travel: For those flying, the closest airport is the Eastern Iowa Airport (CID) in Cedar Rapids, IA. Located less than a half hour away from Iowa City.

About Iowa JPEC: In 1997, Iowa JPEC created the Technological Entrepreneurship Certificate in partnership with the University of Iowa College of Engineering. This certificate recognized the value in establishing an educational focus that would combine hands-on classroom learning with expert mentorship for entrepreneurially-minded engineering students. The certificate was the first of its kind at any U.S. institution.
