The Chicago Entrepreneurial Workshop will expose University of Illinois students to the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the booming city of Chicago! Students will have the opportunity to visit startups, innovative alumni, and leading technology companies.
The Technology Entrepreneur Center and the Academy for Entrepreneurial Leadership will send a select group of students to Chicago, May 15-16, for a two-day technology entrepreneurship workshop.
The workshop will expose students to the many facets of technology entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership that continues to build an entrepreneurial community at Illinois.
The trip will feature corporate leaders, venture capitalists, and entrepreneurs in various stages of a startup lifecycle. Students will also have several opportunities to network with prominent entrepreneurial Illinois alumni.
We invite Illinois undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled in classes (no May graduates) to submit applications to attend this workshop. The cost is $100 per student and includes travel, hotel and majority of meals. Applications are due on Saturday, April 1. TEC reserves the right to accept applications after the deadline should all available spaces not fill at that time.
