Section Description

A course on the engineering process fostering the identification of needs and potential engineering solutions. This course will encapsulate the ideation and problem identification aspects of engineering senior design, and is anticipated to facilitate student innovation.

Course Description

This course will frame the engineering design process as a well-structured intellectual discipline, harnessing the learner’s creative capabilities, leading to novel innovation & effective problem solving. Students learn by doing, creating, & validating multiple projects resulting in at least one viable project proposal by the end of the semester.

Prerequisites or Restrictions

Not intended for freshmen.
