TEC invites a select group of students to Chicago to visit startups, entrepreneurial alumni and leading technology companies

Chicago Entrepreneurship Workshop

The Chicago Entrepreneurship Workshop exposes University of Illinois students to the entrepreneurial ecosystem in the booming city of Chicago! Students will have the opportunity to visit startups, innovative alumni, and leading technology companies.

The Technology Entrepreneur Center and the Origin Ventures Academy for Entrepreneurial Leadership sends a select group of students to Chicago each spring for a three-day technology entrepreneurship workshop.

The workshop exposes students to the many facets of technology entrepreneurship, innovation, and leadership that continues to build an entrepreneurial community at Illinois.

The trip to Chicago features corporate leaders, venture capitalists, and entrepreneurs in various stages of a startup lifecycle. Students will also have several opportunities to network with prominent entrepreneurial Illinois alumni.

We invite Illinois undergraduate and graduate students currently enrolled in classes (no May graduates) to submit applications to attend this workshop. The cost per student is TBD and includes travel, hotel, and the majority of meals. TEC reserves the right to accept applications after the deadline should all available spaces not fill at that time.
