Biography
Manas is a deep tech venture capital investor at Mubadala Capital, an investment platform managing capital for the ~$300bn sovereign wealth fund of the Emirate of Abu Dhabi along with select third-party limited partners. His portfolio is focused on critical industrial technologies, sustainability, advanced compute, and artificial intelligence, including companies like Crusoe, Armada AI, Photonic, Archer Aviation, and Waymo.
Prior to Mubadala, Manas was a generalist private equity investor at Adams Street Partners, a ~$45bn firm based in Chicago. He started his career in mergers and acquisitions and corporate strategy at Molex (a Koch Industries Company) where he also supported the incubation of two new business units.
Outside of his professional roles, Manas is an independent investor where he focuses on business that improve climate, human, and societal health, and was a Founding Member of Illini Angels.
