Advising Information

[11-13-18] Terry Cole is currently on paternity leave and will return before the Spring 2019 semester. If you are in need of academic advising, information will be posted here soon about who you can meet with.
 

 

Below is a list of Advising Resources:

Add or Drop Courses - Modification of undergraduate schedule after the first 10 days of the semester. More information regarding campus policies can be found on the Office of the Registrar website.

Note: If you need to drop or add a class after the drop/add deadline, please email the instructor and cc: Terry Cole at twcole@illinois.edu. If/once the approval is given via email by the instructor, TEC can work with you to have the appropriate form signed for adding/dropping the course.

CARE - The Center for Academic Resources in Engineering (CARE) provides free tutoring in the fourth floor of Grainger Engineering Library.

Counseling Center - Provides a broad range of services that address psychological, educational, social and developmental needs of students.

Emergency Dean - On call afterhours program that operates 7 days/week, from 5 pm - 8:30 am. The Emergency Dean provides information and followup services to students and families in an emergency situation.

Engineering Career Services - Provides students and employers with expert and experienced career management services.

Student Assistance Center - First point of contact for students who call or walk into the Office of the Dean of Students.
