Eligibility
- This Certificate can be completed in two semesters and is available to Juniors, Seniors, and Graduate students in all majors.
- Available to MCS and iMBA students in Chicago through face-to-face sections of select courses.
- Applicants must have a background in elementary data structures (lists, stacks, queues, and trees) and their implementation using an object-oriented programming language, probability theory and statistics with applications to computer science, and a basic understanding of interface design, implementation, and evaluation. These requirements are fulfilled by having taken CS 225 and CS 361, or equivalent courses in these topics.
- Applicants without a programming background should enroll in DTX 495 UX.
