Subject offerings of innovation, creativity, technology and entrepreneurship intended to augment the existing curriculum. See class schedule or departmental course information for topics and prerequisites. Course Information: 1 to 4 undergraduate hours. 1 to 4 graduate hours. May be repeated in the same or separate term if topics vary.
Section Description
UX Fundamentals provides a hands-on introduction to design thinking and the fundamentals of UX research and design. Using the Siebel Center for Design?s human-centered design taxonomy, students will develop a semester-long project to research and prototype UI/UX design solutions. Students will learn methods to perform initial research and project scoping, conduct interviews, create journey maps and wireframes, iteratively test prototypes, and hone their storytelling skills among other UX industry practices. Section UX is restricted to undergraduate students. Section XU is restricted to graduate students.
